Technical analysis of dynamic phenomena and harmonic distortion when installing SSSC device in substation Podlog

The study paper analyses dynamic phenomena and harmonic distortion in the planned installation of the SSSC device in the substation Podlog in the 220 kV Podlog – Obersielach line. The results of the study will mainly be used to define SSSC requirements in the tender documentation during the SSSC procurement phase. The study also developed an SSSC model that can be integrated into the UCTE-DEF format used by the ENTSO-E to coordinate energy flows at cross-border connections.
