Information system for presentation and preparation of report of N-1 analysis

N-1 criterion is very important in power network planning and analyzing. It is a basic requirement for safe network operation. The goal of the project is a computer software that enables clear presentation of results of N-1 analysis for a large number of various states of the network at various time stamps. Due to a large number of data and due to the requirement for rapid operation of application the software is based on a database and on graphical elements that enable fast communication with the database.
IT solutions for controlling dynamic power system simulations

The final goal of this two-year lasting project was to construct a dynamic model of a Slovenian power system and perform the verification of simulation results with WAMS measurements for most characteristic past events to increase model’s credibility. The dynamic model includes all most important elements such as protection relays, controllers, phase shifting transformer in substation Divača, doubly-fed machine in pumped–storage hydro power plant Avče, on-load tap changers, etc. The results have shown that the model produces responses, very similar to those of the actual system.
Asymmetries calculation and measures for their limitations on 400 kV transmission line Cirkovce – Pince

An analysis of a long-lasting operation of double-circuit 400 kV transmission line Maribor – Kainachtal has brought up issues concerning wireless transfer of energy between both circuits, mounted on same transmission pillars. This was the reason for the request of thorough investigation of wireless energy transfer and to apply findings on planned 400 kV transmission line Cirkovce – Pince – Heviz. This transmission line will consist of two circuits, each of them having a common sending-end, but their receiving-end in separate countries of Croatia and Hungary.
